Emotional Regulation is for anyone who has difficulty controlling their emotions or feels that their behaviour is causing chaos in their life. This workshop might be for you if your emotions are affecting your work and personal relationships.
During this weekly workshop, you will learn to handle your responses to strong emotions like frustration, shame, guilt, anger and disappointment. A facilitator will help you understand how emotions affect our behaviour, how to challenge negative thinking and build tolerance to distress, and how to add mindfulness techniques to your everyday life.
Developed using the principles of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, participants will be shown techniques to practice at home in between classes.
